Katana is one of LA’s premier luxury restaurants, combining Japanese tradition with the tastes and flavours of modernity. Launching to the discerning UAE market, an equally luxury-tailored campaign was required for both print and digital, as Katana sought to establish itself in downtown Dubai. In order to convey the same level of authenticity and extravagance one would find at Katana in LA, we came up with a creative route which truly resonated with the high standards and uniqueness that was the brand’s U.S. trademark. This included developing creative inspired by the beautiful traditional geisha silhouette, with a modern twist; a flexible and adaptable design that through an expressive colour pallet could change and adapt with the seasons.
