DWR Veterinary Specialists.

Campaign Works, Brand Works, Design Works

Client: DWR Veterinary Specialists

Project: Marketing refresh

The brief: DWR Veterinary Specialists is one of the largest specialist multi-disciplinary veterinary referral centres in Europe and part of the Linnaeus Group of veterinary practices. Following extensive refurbishment of their premises, they wanted to refresh their marketing collateral to reflect the hospital’s new state-of-the-art facilities.

The audience: As a veterinary referral hospital, vets make up DWR Veterinary Specialists’ primary audience as pets need to be referred there by their own vet for specialist treatment. However, as pet owners can influence the choice of referral hospital, they are also an important audience. For every campaign, we developed different creatives for the two audiences with messaging tailored to reflect their differing concerns.

The solution:

We started by evolving the existing brand look and feel. The goal was to create a more contemporary, approachable look while staying true to the brand’s core identity. We updated brand guidelines and provided a set of design templates for Linnaeus’ in-house design team to use to ensure consistent application of the DWR Veterinary Specialists’ brand across all channels. Over a six-month period, we worked closely with the practice’s Marketing Manager providing ongoing support on a day-to-day basis and developed new online and offline assets as required to boost demand through tactical campaigns for veterinary professionals and pet owners.

The results:

The updated brand identity and marketing materials have helped DWR Veterinary Specialist improve its visibility and strengthen its position as a leader in veterinary care.

The consistent, professional branding has enhanced client trust and engagement, while the new campaigns have driven greater awareness of the hospital’s clinical services and expertise. This was reflected in an uplift in demand for clinical services during and post campaign periods.
